Orca Diving Center - Vlora
The team at Orca Diving Center are the real deal in Vlora. We’ve found they lean heavily into serious PADI instruction, all the way up to IDC, which tells you they’re serious about the craft. If you're looking to push your diving education beyond just fun dives, this is probably your best bet on the Albanian coast. They really shine when it comes to guiding you through Vlora’s lesser-known wrecks and the underwater museum, which are our favourites for a bit of historical exploration. What we really appreciate is their focus on making sure you’re comfortable, especially when you’re still getting your fins wet with new skills. They’re not just ticking boxes. We’d suggest chatting with them about the conditions for the Sazani Island area; currents can be a bit frisky there, but that often means bigger pelagics. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs on the shallower reefs around Karaburun Peninsula too. They’re usually bustling around the early morning dives. The centre itself feels well-organised, a good base before heading out for a day on the Adriatic.
