ANNI - Istria Peninsula

The wreck of the Anni, a motor vessel that went down in 1989 on its way to Ravenna, rests upright on the seabed at 50 metres. She's a good dive for those with deep certs looking for a proper wreck experience. You can trace her 57-metre length, from the stern, where the propeller is still in place, up towards the bridge. Jacks often circle the superstructure, and the holds sometimes shelter schools of smaller fish, while scorpionfish camouflage themselves on the decks. Visibility here can vary, but on a good day, the Anni offers a solemn and interesting exploration.
