Artatore Reef - Istria Peninsula

Artatore Reef is a nice, relaxed spot in Istria, great if you're just getting your fins wet or fancy a chill dive. The reef itself doesn't drop too deep, maxing out at about 13 metres, which makes it perfect for longer bottom times and really taking things in. You'll likely spot plenty of Mediterranean wrasse flitting between the rocks, maybe an octopus tucked into a crevice if you're patient, and the occasional school of small fry darting about. We find it’s a solid pick for an easy morning dive, especially good for beginners to build confidence without strong currents or tricky navigation.
