Why dive here
With 46+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, sea turtles and cuttlefish - Bellariva offers some of Istria Peninsula's richest diving. Water ranges 12-26°C, warmest July, August, September.
Bellariva, off the Istria Peninsula, is a straightforward shore dive. We usually see groups of ornate wrasse darting between the rocks, and sometimes small octopus if you look closely. It’s a good spot for a relaxed second dive or for newer divers getting comfortable with entries. Visibility here is typically decent, around 10 to 15 metres.
