The Bi village housereef in Istria is a surprisingly pleasant spot for new divers or those just looking to get wet. At a shallow 7 meters, it’s a perfect place to work on buoyancy or try out new gear without any pressure. You’ll typically find a good number of damselfish darting between the rocks, small schools of juvenile sea bream, and sometimes a curious octopus peeking out from its den. We’ve also spotted little nudibranchs if you slow down and really look. It’s not going to blow your mind with dramatic topography, but for a relaxed, easy dive with reliable small critters, it's a solid choice.
