Why dive here
With 46+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, sea turtles and cuttlefish - Crvene Stene offers some of Istria Peninsula's richest diving. Water ranges 12-26°C, warmest July, August, September.
Crvene Stene, or Red Rocks, is a straightforward dive off the Istrian coast. You’ll find a series of rock formations descending into the blue, creating interesting swim-throughs and small overhangs. It's a decent spot for newer divers to explore the typical Mediterranean reef fish and some colourful nudibranchs without much current to worry about. We think it’s a solid choice for an easy afternoon dive.
