Diving Center Poreč - Istria Peninsula
The team at Diving Center Poreč are a solid pick if you’re diving the Istrian coast. We’ve found them consistently friendly, and they run a tight ship. They really excel at getting new divers comfortable, making those first breaths underwater feel less like a leap and more like a gentle wade into something amazing. If you're bringing the family and want someone patient with the kids, or if you're a newer diver looking to build confidence beyond your Open Water, this is a good base. Our favourite dives with them often involve the local wrecks, though visibility can vary. We've seen everything from glassy 25m days to choppier, greener experiences, but the guides always find something interesting. There’s a certain charm to exploring the reefs around Pećina Banjole. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs tucked away in the crevices. We’d suggest going in the morning if you can; the light penetration on the walls is much better then. They mainly stick to PADI courses, right up to Divemaster, so if you're looking to advance your training in a relaxed, well-organised environment, they're set up for it. Expect clear briefings, well-maintained gear, and a genuine smile when you surface.
