Full Dive - Istria Peninsula
Okay, so you’re looking at Istria, and you want a dive centre that gets it. Forget the generic tour operators; Full Dive is where we always end up. The team there, they're the real draw – knowledgeable, no-nonsense divers who genuinely love what they do, which makes all the difference when you’re hauling gear or trying to figure out a tricky current. They specialise in showing you the best of the Adriatic's wrecks and reefs, often away from the crowds. We always appreciate that their boat is right there, gear loaded straight from the shop, no faffing about with long walks or shuttles. We’d suggest you try to get out with them early; sometimes, the visibility on the deeper wrecks is just incredible before the thermoclines really set in, the light shafts hitting the deck of the *Baron Gautsch* are something else. You can feel the history down there, a chill that has nothing to do with the water temperature. They’re great for experienced divers who appreciate solid logistics and local knowledge, but they’ll look after newer divers too, making sure everyone feels comfortable. They just run a good show, simple as that.
