Fish Garden - Istria Peninsula
Fish Garden, off the Istrian coast, is exactly what it sounds like – a really pleasant spot to hang out with some fish. We typically hit this one when we're looking for a relaxed dive, no frills, just good visibility and a decent array of Mediterranean reef dwellers. It’s a shallow site, topping out around 14 meters, making it ideal for newer divers or anyone looking for a longer bottom time without the pressure. Expect to see plenty of damselfish, maybe an inquisitive wrasse or two, and if you’re lucky, a passing school of sardines flashing in the sunlight. It’s a gentle introduction to diving in Croatia, a nice easy paddle.
