Why dive here
With 46+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, sea turtles and cuttlefish - Kolumbarica offers some of Istria Peninsula's richest diving. Water ranges 12-26°C, warmest July, August, September.
Kolumbarica on Croatia’s Istrian Peninsula is a spot for those who appreciate Mediterranean rock formations. We’ve found decent visibility here, and the light plays nicely inside the small caves and overhangs. It’s a good choice for divers looking for a relaxing, shallower dive with some interesting swim-throughs, not necessarily big pelagics. Expect octopus, nudibranchs, and smaller reef fish tucked into the crevices.
