Piran under the Church is a nice little dip for an afternoon when you’re looking for something relaxed in Istria. At a max depth of 13m, it’s a brilliant spot for newer divers or anyone wanting to get back in the water after a bit of a break. You’ll find plenty of small Mediterranean critters flitting about – we often spot blennies, gobies, and little nudibranchs tucked into the rocks. It’s not going to blow your mind with dramatic drops or huge schools of pelagics, but for a gentle, easy dive, it definitely hits the mark.
