Red Island House Reef - Istria Peninsula

Red Island’s House Reef is a good spot to get your fins wet, especially if you’re new to diving or just looking for a relaxed afternoon. The maximum depth here is a consistent eight metres, which means plenty of bottom time and lots of light penetration. We’ve drifted along the gentle slopes, spotting the usual Mediterranean suspects: small schools of damselfish darting between the rocks, occasional bream, and some surprisingly colourful nudibranchs if you look closely enough among the seagrass. It's calm, easy to navigate, and makes for a pleasant, no-fuss dive.
