The Risorgimento wreck in Istria sits shallow, just 11 meters down, making it an easy dive for most certification levels. It's a wooden cargo ship, sunk during WWII, now broken into several sections scattered across the seabed. You'll find plenty of resident fish life sheltering amongst the ribs and planks – often schools of small damselfish and gobies. It’s a good introductory wreck dive, particularly for those looking to practice buoyancy over fragile historical remains.
