Safari Reef in Istria is a solid pick for a relaxed afternoon dive, especially if you're just getting your fins wet. The site caps out at around 15 metres, making it really comfortable for newer divers or those looking for a longer bottom time without pushing depth limits. We’ve found the gentle slopes and small overhangs here often shelter schools of bream and damselfish, sometimes with a moray eel peeking out from a crevice. It’s not going to blow your mind with massive pelagics, but it's a pleasant, easy dive where you can just cruise along and enjoy the quiet.
