San Giovanni Nord - Istria Peninsula

San Giovanni Nord is a decent spot if you’re looking for a relaxed dive in Istria, particularly good for easing into things. The maximum depth of 17 metres makes it a comfortable choice for newer divers or those who just want a longer bottom time without the pressure. We’ve found the gentle slopes here often have little pockets of blennies and gobies, tucked into the rocks. It’s not going to blow your mind with massive pelagics, but it's a pleasant way to spend an hour underwater, soaking up the calmer side of the Adriatic.
