Schiessüberwachung - Istria Peninsula

Nishi Hama has a magic to it, especially if you can get there when the sun is high. We’ve found the light penetration through the shallow staghorn gardens here utterly mesmerising. It’s not about huge pelagics, though a reef shark might cruise past the deeper sections if you’re lucky. Instead, Nishi Hama excels in the details: clown anemonefish tending their sebae homes, the iridescent shimmer of bluefin filefish darting amongst the honeycomb coral, and those enormous, textured brain corals that look like something out of a sci-fi movie. Dive this site slowly. We’d suggest dedicating a good chunk of your bottom time to just hovering over the coral bommies, letting your eyes adjust to the intricate patterns and the constant movement of tiny reef fish. The clarity here, particularly in late spring and early summer, makes photography a dream. It’s a gentle dive, perfect for those who appreciate the quieter moments and the sheer artistry of a healthy reef.
