Seebad Rüschlikon - Istria Peninsula

Pinaúnas is one of those spots that really sticks with you, a proper local favourite just off Salvador. What we love about it is the sheer density of small, interesting critters packed into a relatively compact reef. You’ll spend most of your dive with your nose practically pressed against the rock, spotting things like the intricate patterns of a Serpent Brittle Star, or a Delalande Blenny peeking out from its coral hideaway. It’s not about big pelagics here; it's a macro enthusiast’s dream. We've had some fantastic dives just watching the territorial squabbles of Demoiselles and Sergeant-majors, or trying to spot the perfectly camouflaged Sand Stargazer. Our tip? Go slow, really slow, and bring a good macro lens if you’re into photography. The light can be a bit dappled, so a focus light helps. This site is definitely one for divers who appreciate the subtle beauty of a healthy, busy reef, rather than chasing wrecks or big fish.
