Why dive here
With 46+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, sea turtles and cuttlefish - Space Reef offers some of Istria Peninsula's richest reef diving. Water ranges 12-26°C, warmest July, August, September.
Space Reef, just off the Istrian coast, is a shallow, gentle introduction to Mediterranean diving. At a maximum depth of 9 metres, it’s a perfect spot for those new to the sport or looking for a relaxed afternoon dip. We often find small scorpionfish tucked into crevices and schools of ornate wrasse darting through the seagrass beds. It’s a solid pick for a simple, undemanding dive.
