SS Albanien (Wreck) - Istria Peninsula

Dropping onto the SS Albanien, you’re hitting the deep end, literally, at 46 metres. This isn't a beginner's jaunt, but for experienced wreckies, she’s a beauty. Her bow is still pretty intact, and you can swim through the cargo holds, where the light plays nicely if you catch it right. Expect to find conger eels and scorpionfish tucked into the nooks, and often a decent school of sardines hanging out around the superstructure. It's a deep, calm exploration, making it a great dive for those comfortable with their buoyancy and bottom time.
