Sub-Aquatic Diving Center - Istria Peninsula

The Sub-Aquatic Diving Center site, just off Istria, isn't some dramatic wall dive, but we keep coming back for its sheer, understated charm. It’s a gentle introduction to Mediterranean coastal diving, perfect for shaking off the dust or for newer divers finding their fins. We love how the light plays through the Sturdy Needleweed, making the sandy patches shimmer. Spend some time here and you'll really appreciate the smaller things. We’ve had some fantastic encounters with marbled electric rays buried in the sand, and those greater weevers are surprisingly well-camouflaged. Keep an eye out for the Horn Shells, they're everywhere once you learn to spot them. Our favourite moment? Finding a seahorse tucked into a patch of Bushy Coral, an absolute treat. If you’re into macro life and prefer a relaxed dive to a strong current, this spot delivers. The visibility is usually excellent, making it easy to just drift and observe.
