Teixlbucht/Messnerspitz - Istria Peninsula

Teixlbucht, or Messnerspitz as some local dive guides call it, is a pleasant, easy dive just off the Istrian coast. It's a shallow spot, topping out at 17 metres, which makes it an ideal pick for newer divers or anyone looking for a relaxed afternoon dip. We usually spend our time cruising along the gentle slopes, spotting common Mediterranean critters like scorpionfish tucked into crevices and schools of ornate wrasse darting through the seagrass. You might even find an octopus or two if you've got a good eye. It’s a solid choice for a second dive of the day, unchallenging and reliably tranquil.
