Weissensee Ost Hausriff - Istria Peninsula

Weissensee Ost Hausriff, over in Istria, is a gentle dip for anyone new to diving or just wanting an easy afternoon. The whole reef sits at a comfortable 12 metres, which means plenty of bottom time to explore without rushing. We've often seen small schools of juvenile fish darting amongst the rocks, and if you take it slow, you'll spot nudibranchs tucked into crevices. It’s a calm introduction to Mediterranean diving, not flashy, but consistently pleasant, especially on a sunny day when the light penetrates all the way to the reef.
