FOKA diving centar - Kornati Islands
The team at FOKA diving centar are exactly the kind of people you want looking after you in the Kornati. They run a slick operation from two spots on Pag, Šimuni and Straško, and their specialty is really showing you the ropes, or helping you go pro, with a strong NAUI focus. If you’re serious about your dive education, from Open Water right up to Instructor, this is a solid choice. We’d suggest them particularly for divers looking to genuinely level up their skills, not just tick off another dive. What we really appreciate about FOKA is their dedication to teaching. Their NAUI courses run the full gamut, from getting kids comfortable in the water with Skin Diver right through to intensive Instructor Training. We especially love that they offer a dedicated Shore Diving Course and a Boat Diving course. It’s practical stuff that genuinely builds confidence. You’ll be learning to navigate those rocky Croatian entries with ease. With 101 dive sites in the Kornati area, they've got endless options to put those new skills to use. Our favourite dive with them was a drift along a wall where schools of glinting damselfish parted for us, and the light played through the fissures in the rock, revealing the occasional moray eel peeking out. Talk about a rewarding classroom.
