Nautilus Diving School - Larnaca
The team at Nautilus Diving School are our go-to in Larnaca, especially if you’re looking to push your diving further. They run a busy, professional operation, a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, which means they’re set up for everything from your first breath underwater to instructor development. We’ve always appreciated their thorough approach to training, particularly on those trickier speciality courses. What sets them apart, for us, is their local knowledge. Instead of just hitting the popular spots, they're excellent at finding the calmer coves or less-dived wrecks depending on the day's conditions, often pointing out a nudibranch we’d have otherwise completely missed. Their house reef, just a short boat ride, offers some surprisingly good macro opportunities – look for pipefish in the seagrass beds early in the morning. We'd suggest getting on their early boat if you can; the visibility often feels a touch sharper before the thermal layers kick in later in the day. Plus, you beat the crowds heading to the Zenobia, which, while incredible, can get busy. They’re a solid choice for serious divers and those wanting to level up their skills with a patient, experienced crew.
