Scuba Pulse - Larnaca
The team at Scuba Pulse are exactly the kind of people you want looking after you on a dive trip. They’re based right on Makenzi Beach in Larnaca, which is a big plus for convenience; you practically roll out of bed and onto the boat. We’ve always found their setup to be really professional, especially when it comes to the technical stuff, but they keep it relaxed and friendly. They’re PADI 5 Star, so they’ve got all the bases covered from beginner courses right up to the more advanced stuff, and they do it well. We love them for easy access to the Zenobia wreck, which for us is one of Cyprus’s true highlights. We’d suggest getting there early in the morning with them to avoid the crowds, as it can get busy later in the day. Dropping down onto that massive ferry, seeing the trucks still chained to the decks, it's a bit eerie, a bit exhilarating. You’ll spot the resident groupers lurking in the shadows and maybe even a turtle or two gliding past. For something shallower, they also run trips to some lovely reef patches nearby, great for a second dive, with schools of bream and the occasional octopus tucked into the rocks. We often grab a coffee at the beachside spot next door after a dive, the perfect way to debrief.
