SABRIN - Larnaca

The Sabrin, a small motor vessel, lies in just two metres of water near Larnaca. She ran aground back in '73, got refloated, then ended up here, broken up now and well-colonised. It’s more of a scatter than a complete wreck, but the metal framework provides plenty of nooks for small bream and damselfish. You'll often spot octopus tucked away in crevices, and the light here is usually excellent, making for some nice wide-angle shots. It’s a perfect spot for snorkelers or new divers getting used to buoyancy, though experienced divers might find it a little shallow for a full tank dive.
