Amazone - Bornholm
Bornholm's Amazone site is a surprising little spot, often overlooked for the more dramatic wrecks further afield. It’s a shallow dive, generally no more than 10-12 metres, meaning plenty of bottom time to explore. We’ve found it’s a great place to spot species like the four-bearded rockling tucked into the rocks, and you'll often see schools of sprats swirling by. For birdwatchers who also dive, it’s not uncommon to spot common scoters or eiders on the surface before you even get in. We'd suggest it for an easy second dive of the day, or for anyone wanting a relaxed explore rather than a challenging current drift.
