We’ve explored a few wrecks around Bornholm, and Emmy offers a nice, accessible dive if you’re looking for a piece of history. This steamship, sunk by a mine in 1916, now rests in just 8 meters of water, making it perfect for divers who prefer shallower depths and longer bottom times. Even at this depth, there's enough structure to keep you interested; you can follow the hull's outline, noting how the metal has softened over a century. Shoals of small fish often drift in and out of the broken sections, and we've spotted some decent-sized crabs making homes in the nooks and crannies. It's not a dive for massive pelagics, but a quiet exploration of a historical relic, well-suited for a relaxed afternoon.
