GERDA - Bornholm
The Gerda, off Bornholm, is one of those shallow wrecks that just keeps giving, especially when you’re in the mood for an easy dive. It’s mostly broken up, a tumble of masonry and stones scattered across the seabed at 12 metres, but that’s its charm. We love poking around the debris field; you’ll find plenty of small crabs scuttling amongst the rocks and often a school of cod sheltering in the larger sections. It’s a relaxed exploration, perfect for newer divers or for photographers wanting to practice their macro skills without battling depth or current. The wreck’s structure, though fragmented, still offers enough to make for an interesting rummage.
