H.97 - Bornholm
The H.97, resting in just 4 metres of water off Bornholm, is one of those accessible wrecks that offers a rewarding dive without the need for deep diving certs. It's a fishing vessel, and while classified as "dangerous," that refers more to its initial discovery as a navigation hazard than its current state for divers. We found it reasonably intact, with the stern section still holding its shape well. Expect to see plenty of flatfish camouflaged against the seabed, and crabs scuttling around the wreckage. It's a perfect spot for newer wreck divers or anyone looking for a relaxed, shallow exploration, especially good for a long bottom time or a repeat dive to really soak it in.
