HANS - Bornholm
HANS isn’t the kind of wreck that makes headlines, but it’s a solid dive for anyone exploring Bornholm. This old fishing vessel went down in 1948, and now sits in a shallow six metres. The shallow depth means fantastic bottom times, and the light penetration is excellent, illuminating the skeletal remains of the hull. You'll find a surprising amount of life here, mostly various wrasse darting through the rusted metal, and the occasional flatfish camouflaged on the sand nearby. It’s a very calm spot, good for newer wreck divers or photographers wanting to spend time framing shots without fighting current.
