The Heidi, a fishing vessel resting at 35 metres off Bornholm, is a solid dive for anyone keen on wreck exploration without the deep penetration. It’s a non-dangerous wreck, meaning you can poke around the superstructure and deck areas quite comfortably. We’ve found wolfish tucked into crevices, and decent-sized cod patrolling the hold, which is open enough to peer into without needing a reel. Visibility can be a bit variable, but on a good day, the light plays nicely off the barnacled metal, giving the whole site a moody, atmospheric feel. It’s a good one to pair with another shallower dive in the area.

    Safety Notes

Deep dive (35m) - monitor air consumption closely. Advanced certification recommended.

Wreck site - avoid penetration without wreck diving certification. Watch for sharp metal and entanglement hazards.

Cold water this month (avg 14°C). Drysuit or thick wetsuit (7mm+) recommended.

Always perform a 3-minute safety stop at 5m before surfacing.
