INDIA - Bornholm
The fishing vessel *India* rests upright at 50 metres, a sober and intriguing dive off Bornholm. Sunk in 1994, it’s not ancient, but time and the Baltic have softened its edges, making it feel older than its years. We’ve found the stern section particularly photogenic, with its prop and rudder still intact, often cloaked in schooling pollack. Penetration is possible for suitably qualified divers, though the silt can kick up quickly inside, so a good light and excellent buoyancy are essential. Outside, you’ll likely spot cod, blennies, and crabs making homes in its structure. It’s a dive for those who appreciate the quiet dignity of a modern wreck, a little deep, but rewarding for the right skillset.
