Jezioro Czarnoglowy Duze, near Badestelle, is a freshwater lake dive on Bornholm. It's a very different experience from the Baltic Sea, with submerged logs and a silty bottom rather than rocky reefs. We'd suggest it for divers looking for something truly off the beaten path, especially on a day when sea conditions are rough. Visibility can be variable, but you might spot freshwater fish or just enjoy the quiet.
Safety Notes
Cold water this month (avg 14°C). Drysuit or thick wetsuit (7mm+) recommended.
