JYTTE MOLLER - Bornholm

The *Jytte Moller* sits upright at 32 metres, a ghostly silhouette on the Bornholm seabed. We particularly love the dramatic way she rests, burnt out and broken, but still very much a ship. Dropping down, you’ll first hit the stern, then glide along the deck towards the bow, feeling the cooler water around you. The wheelhouse is gone, but the hull structure remains largely intact, creating fantastic swim-throughs for those comfortable with overhead environments. Her wooden structure, charred and softened by the sea, is a magnet for local critters. You’ll spot crabs scuttling in the shadows and schools of cod darting in and out of the holds. Visibility can swing, but on a good day, the light filtering down onto the wreck creates a really atmospheric dive. This isn't a dive for absolute beginners; the depth and potential for variable conditions mean we'd suggest it for divers with some experience in colder waters and wreck diving. It's a deep dive, so manage your bottom time and bring your torch – there are some excellent nooks and crannies to explore.
