With 66+ marine species recorded in the area - including jellyfish lake - PATRIA offers some of Bornholm's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-18°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Patria, sitting at 16m off Bornholm, is a wreck dive with a real sense of history. Sunk by a mine in 1945, she’s a scattered but compelling site. What we really like here is how the wreck has become a home for the local marine life. You’ll find cod sheltering in the deeper sections of debris and various crabs scuttling across the plates. It’s not a site for deep penetration, given her "dangerous wreck" classification, but a fine spot for divers who appreciate a piece of maritime history colonised by the sea.
