RHEIN - Bornholm
Diving the Rhein feels a bit like stepping back in time, then watching nature reclaim it. This old steamship, resting in just 10 meters off Bornholm, is surprisingly intact for its age and the Baltic’s often-harsh embrace. We’ve found the bow and stern sections quite defined, offering clear navigation around the hull. Look for the schools of small cod darting through the rusted superstructure and the occasional lumpfish tucked into crevices. It’s a great site for newer wreck divers or those wanting a relaxed second dive, allowing plenty of time to explore the nooks and crannies without feeling rushed. Just remember, it’s a protected site, so look but don’t touch.
