    The wreck of the Sando lies off Bornholm, a decent choice for a straightforward Baltic wreck dive. This motor vessel went down after a fire in 1975, and now sits at a maximum depth of 20 metres. We've found the hull mostly intact, a good penetration opportunity if you're qualified and the conditions are right, though it is classified as dangerous. Look for resident cod and flatfish hunkering down in the darker spaces. It’s a solid dive for those who appreciate maritime history and aren't afraid of chillier waters.
