SILVERSTAR - Bornholm
The Silverstar, a fishing vessel that sank in 1969 after a fire, rests at 46 metres off Bornholm. It's a deep dive, making it one for experienced wreck enthusiasts who are comfortable with decompression. The hull remains largely intact, offering interesting penetration opportunities into the holds and engine room, where you can still pick out machinery. Over the decades, schools of cod and blennies have made the wreck their home, darting between the decaying superstructure and the seabed. It's a sombre, quiet dive, a real piece of maritime history.
