Skellerev, off Bornholm, offers a peek into the Baltic's surprisingly resilient ecosystem. It’s a shallow site, often calm, making it a good spot for newer divers or anyone looking for a relaxed exploration. We’ve found a decent collection of cold-water corals here, the kind that might surprise those used to tropical hues, along with the occasional Ocean Quahog, some of them ancient. You'll likely spot Common Eiders foraging, and in summer, Arctic Terns wheeling overhead. It's not a riot of colour, but it’s an interesting contrast and a chance to dive somewhere a little different.
