Springboard

Springboard, on Bornholm, offers a dive that feels a bit like exploring a flooded quarry, but with the Baltic's unique flavour. It's a shore dive, straightforward enough for newer divers, though we’d always suggest a local guide for your first few Danish entries. You'll likely find a good number of flatfish like dab and fluke hunkering down in the sandy patches. Keep an eye out for lumpsuckers clinging to the rockier bits; their camouflage is surprisingly effective. We’ve also spotted good-sized Atlantic cod cruising through the deeper sections, often accompanied by schools of sprat. It’s not a coral reef, obviously, but it’s a solid dive for experiencing the cooler waters and the distinct species that call the Baltic home.
