STELLA MOJAC - Bornholm
The Stella Mojac, a tug vessel, rests at 22 meters just off Bornholm. She went down in 1978 while under tow, so there isn’t the dramatic story of a storm or battle, but she makes for a compelling dive nonetheless. Her structure is mostly intact, offering plenty of nooks and crannies to peer into, feeling like a real ship rather than just a pile of debris. Over the years, local fish like cod and even the occasional conger eel have made her their home, swimming in and out of the bridge and engine room. It’s a good wreck for those looking for a solid penetration dive without extreme depth, though the Baltic’s cooler water means decent drysuit skills are a plus.
