The Vega wreck in Bornholm is a shallow, relaxed dive, perfect for a gentle introduction to Baltic wrecks or a casual afternoon dip. At just two metres deep, it's really more of a snorkel, but we love how accessible it is. You can make out the hull structure, even if it's broken up, and it’s become home to various small critters – crabs scuttling over the plates, schools of juvenile fish flitting through the beams. It’s not a grand, intact vessel, but its simplicity offers a different kind of charm, a chance to really slow down and observe the marine life making a living on the old iron.
