Aalborg Sportsdykkerklub - North Sea Coast
Aalborg Sportsdykkerklub, on Denmark's North Sea Coast, offers a surprisingly solid shore dive for those willing to brave the chill. It’s a site where you’ll mostly be exploring the sandy and rocky bottom, keeping an eye out for common shore crabs scuttling amongst the rocks and plenty of edible periwinkles clinging to the shallows. We've seen good numbers of blue mussels and common cockles here too. Visibility can vary quite a bit with the weather, so we’d suggest aiming for calm days. It’s a great spot for an easy local dive, particularly if you’re keen on macro life or just getting in some bottom time without needing a boat.
