The ANO wreck, sitting at 14 metres on the North Sea coast, is a solid dive for those who appreciate a bit of history beneath the waves. It’s a motor vessel, and while classified as dangerous – mainly due to its age and shifting structure – it’s a reasonably intact hull to explore. We’ve found wolfish tucked into crevices, and decent-sized cod patrolling the decks. It’s a good one for divers looking for a straightforward wreck dive, especially if you like seeing how marine life reclaims these old structures. Visibility can vary, but on a good day, you get a real sense of its scale.
