BESS - North Sea Coast
The BESS sits in the shallow waters off the North Sea coast, a fishing vessel that met its end here. At just 7 meters, it’s a site we’d recommend for a relaxed dive, maybe a long bottom time exploring the remains. The wreck itself isn't huge, but the structure has become a home for a surprising amount of local marine life – crabs scuttling in the crevices, small schooling fish darting around the mast, and sometimes a grumpy flatfish buried in the sand nearby. We've found it a good spot for newer wreck divers to get a feel for penetration on a small scale, or for photographers looking for an easy subject without worrying about depth or current. It's a gentle introduction to Danish wreck diving.
