BRAGE - North Sea Coast
The Brage wreck, lying in Kiel Bay, offers a substantial piece of history at 18 meters. This steamship, sunk by a mine in 1940, stretches out a formidable 133 meters. We've found the visibility here can be a bit variable, but on a good day, the sheer scale of the Brage is impressive. It’s a site for those who appreciate the quiet dignity of a wartime wreck, with plenty of structural elements to explore and various fish making their homes within the collapsed hull. Given its depth, it’s a good choice for divers comfortable with wreck penetration, or those who prefer to simply trace the outlines of its long, enduring form.
