DAN BRITT - North Sea Coast
The Dan Britt isn't just another wreck. She’s a trawler, a proper working boat, and you feel that history as you drop down. We love how intact she remains, lying perfectly upright at 23 metres. Her wheelhouse is still there, largely complete, and you can swim through the holds – a really evocative penetration dive if you're comfortable with overhead environments. The North Sea current often cleans the site, offering good visibility on a lucky day, and it’s always fascinating to see how the local marine life has claimed her. We’ve seen conger eels poking out from pipes and big schools of cod hovering over the deck. It’s a site that really rewards careful exploration, suited to divers with some wreck experience who appreciate a bit of history beneath the waves. Look for slack tide to get the most out of your bottom time here.
