Why dive here
With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - ERNA offers some of North Sea Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
The schooner ERNA sits in just 8 metres of water off the North Sea coast, an accessible wreck dive for those comfortable with coastal conditions. What’s left of her structure hosts a good variety of local critters – crabs scuttle in crevices and flatfish often blend into the sand around the hull. We’ve found her to be a solid choice for a second dive of the day, or for newer wreck divers looking to get their fins wet on something with a bit of history.
