With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including seals & sea lions, sea turtles and jellyfish lake - Faeno Sund offers some of North Sea Coast's richest drift diving. Water ranges 3-19°C, warmest July, August, September.
Faeno Sund is a pretty mellow channel dive, one we often recommend for a relaxed afternoon in the water. You're looking at depths between 10 and 25 meters, so it's quite accommodating for different certification levels. We usually find a gentle current here, perfect for a drift that lets you focus on the bottom formations and the fish species that hang out in the strait. Think less big pelagics, more interesting critters tucked into the substrate and cruising the softer currents. It’s a good choice if you're keen on seeing what Denmark’s quieter spots have to offer.
